A flood of goals, all in the first half from Jewel, drowned out the entertainment boys from Magaritaville, at Drax Hall in Thursday ‘s lone game in the St. Ann business house football competition.

Jermaine Whieldon opened the floodgates for Jewel Runaway Bay, shortly after which they lost one of their best players, Kenard Carnegie to a knee injury. He was replaced by Carl Maglasion who played well throughout the rest of the game.

The second goal came about 20 minutes after the first goal, Laton Master made a neat chip shot over the goal keeper head and landed a goal in the left back of the net, the goal was made possible by a beautiful free kick set up by his team mate David Piser.

Damion Lee was the third Jewel player of the score sheet with a shot that flew past the goal keeper and into the top left corner of the net. The fourth goal 5 minutes before half time was struck by Odaine Wignal into the right bottom corner of the net, the first half ended four nil (4-0).

When the second half commenced Magaritaville played well but still failed to capitalise on their goals even after making some beautiful attempts at the goal of Jewel Runaway Bay. Tthe keeper was just too much for them to handle.

Karston Walker of Magaritaville got the last yellow card of the game which ended under lights at 8:00 pm.

Man of the match was Laton Master who scored one of the beautiful goals in the first half and played very well throughout first and second half.
