MTV and Chronixx

Popular music network MTV News has released a list of four reasons you should be listening to conscious Reggae sensation Chronixx. 1. Chronixx is popular among the ‘rock gods’ and that makes him unique. For instance, Mick Jagger, Rolling Stones front man is a big fan of Chronixx. Jagger recently spent his birthday at a Chronixx concert in Central Park in New York, according to MTV News.2. Chronixx is part of a musical legacy. The ‘Here Comes Trouble’ singer was introduced to the world of reggae music through his father Chronicle, a veteran reggae artist who Chronixx describes as the “original dancehall father,” MTV News said. 3. He’s got substance and style. For example, Chronixx’s song, ‘Spirulina’ is an upbeat anthem promoting a health conscious lifestyle. Unlike artistes in popular culture that promote the use of drugs and alcohol, Chronixx actually takes pride in never taking a sip of alcohol in his life, the network added.4. He’s pioneering the reggae revival. He was listed among other artists such as Protoje, Kabaka Pyramid, Kelissa and Jah9 who are bringing relevance to the genre in the US, according to MTV News.

The single Dripping Blood is a bonus on the album, which comes after Davis’ previous album, ‘True Worship’. The 17-track album took the church minister Davis five years to write and produce and is said to be released at this time for the upliftment of our people and to bring glory to God. The album will be made available on Tunes, Zojak, and VP Records.
