Singer Jah Cure says there is no bad blood with his former manager Robert Livingston since signing with U-S based Gary ‘Dr Dread’ Hilemfarb, founder of RAS Records. Jah Cure who has marked the change as unimportant, told Hip News his team is still up and running efficiently, and preparing for his album drop. Since his release from prison in 2007, Jah Cure has enjoyed a handful of chart entries, the most recent being a cover of John Legend’s ‘All of Me’.
MARRIED LADY
Dancehall star Vanessa Bling has denied an intimate relationship with I Octane. “I am a married woman and I Octane is in a relationship. Mi no like publicity stunt, so I don’t want people to take this for a joke and even feel like a my team ah do this, Vanessa Bling, is a married lady, so people too wicked fi a spread rumour say Vybz Kartel has given instructions to end relationship with Octane. Kartel himself knows that me and Octane not involved,” Gaza Slim said. Vanessa Bling says fans should look out for her new video for the single ‘How to treat your girl’ , to be released shortly. The artiste, who was recently freed of perverting the course of justice charges, stemming from the murder trial involving dancehall Artiste Vybz Kartel, says she’s now in a good place, and is looking forward to the release of other projects. Meanwhile the Artiste’s single ‘Cya Do It’ featuring I-Octane continues to create waves on the airwaves, an achievement she’s grateful for.
TIFA’S DESTINY
Dancehall artiste Tifa says her move on U-S billboards charts will only encourage her to go harder and carry the Dancehall flag high. Tifa will be jetting off to Antigua this weekend to perform alongside other dancehall artiste before coming back to promote her role in the upcoming movie ‘Destiny’ along with the accompanying sound track.
Double Konshens
Dancehall star Konshens and a young producer-engineer reportedly got into a tussle over a song that Konshens had voiced for the producer several months ago. According to the street, Konshens had voiced a song for the young producer, and then Konshens re-recorded the same track for another producer on a different riddim, and then released it. The young producer then released the same track, and that act triggered the bad vibes and then finally led to the conflict.
Ziggy Marley Lighthouse
World renowned, six-time Grammy winner and Reggae icon, Ziggy Marley will release a special four-track EP titled ‘Lighthouse’ as an iTunes exclusive this month. The EP will feature rare versions of tracks from Ziggy’s highly acclaimed fifth studio album ‘Fly Rasta’ released earlier this year, including live acoustic versions of ‘I Get Up’,” and ‘I Don’t Want To Live On Mars’ and a live full band concert recording of ‘Lighthouse.’

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has reportedly become embroiled in a bizarre legal fight after her ex-boyfriend filed divorce papers naming her as his common law wife. According to reports, Maurice Williams has filed paperwork to end his ‘marriage’ to the Fancy star. Williams claims he began living with the star in Texas in late 2008, and local laws state a couple can be considered married if they reside together for a long period of time and agree to present themselves as husband and wife.
