Dancehall deejay Alkaline is now adding insult to injury in his recently resurfaced ‘beef’ with Popcaan. The deejay has re-launched his online clothing store and is now offering a 15% discount storewide using the code ‘Microwave’ which is also the name of his latest track and was the trending word on social media recently. Fans on social media went into a frenzy when Alkaline released the new Popcaan diss track. Since the release of the single, a slew of memes have flocked online, causing a social media war between fans from both Alkaline and Popcaan. Most music insiders are now saying that Alkaline is the leading artiste in dancehall and he is staking his claim as the top man, in what seems to be a well researched song ‘Microwave’ which is an answer track to Popcaan’s recent diss single titled ‘Stray Dog’. After being uploaded to Youtube, ‘Microwave’ received over 600,000 views in almost a week.
