FOR SPORTS DAY: COMPLANT has handed over $200,000 towards sponsoring the Area 2 police sports day. Commercial manager for COMPLANT, Michael Yee on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 handed over a cheque for the amount at the St Ann police headquarter in St Ann’s Bay. The cheque was received by superintendents Dwight Powell and Dudley Scott to help fund the event to be held on Thursday, May 1, at Noranda Sport complex, Discovery Bay. COMPLANT is best known on the Northeast Coast for its collaboration with the  Housing Agency of Jamaica to undertake the design and construction of homes at Balle Air and Mount Edgecombe, at Runaway Bay, St Ann), under an agreement reached 2010. Construction started on January 5 ,2012. Mr. Yee said that. “COMPLANT had received a letter from the St. Ann police station looking for sponsorship and we at COMPLANT are very willing to sponsor the St. Ann police.”  In responding, Superintendent Dudley Scott expressed thanks to COMPLANT for the assistance assisting them.In Photo,  commercial manager Michael Yee (right) from Chinese firm COMPLANT hands  over J $200,000 to the Area 2 police for assistance with their sports.
