A fresh appeal is being made by the police for a man wanted in relation to a triple murder committed in St Mary in September of 2016.

He is 29-year-old Charles Hamilton, alias ‘Tuggy Tuggy.’

Hamilton is said to frequent the Islington and Annotto Bay communities.

It is not the first time that the police have listed Hamilton as wanted for the triple murder in Annotto Bay, St Mary that occurred on Thursday, September 8, 2016.

Those killed are: 62-year-old labourer Albert Pryce, otherwise called ‘Ali’ of Annotto Bay, St. Mary, 25-year-old Rushell Williams, bartender and her daughter, eight-month-old Aleair Sewell of Swift River, Portland.

The murder occurred at Love Lane on Fort George Road in Annotto Bay. Police found the bodies of the three in a house with multiple gunshot wounds, after explosions were heard earlier that morning.

Weeks after the murder, the police had listed a convict, Charles Hamilton as being wanted for question in the triple murder.

However, Hamilton has since remained on the run despite several publications in the media, including the North Coast Times.

At an Area Two press conference held following the capture of the parish’s most wanted, Dwight Henry, assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Fitz Bailey has renewed his appeal for any information leading to the capture of Hamilton.

In the meantime, Hamilton is also being sought for escaping the custody of the Islington police, on August 11.

Hamilton was awaiting sentencing on September 15, 2016 in the Home Circuit Court on a charge of shooting with intent after he was found guilty in the St Mary Circuit Court in July.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Charles Hamilton should call the police at 119 or contact the nearest police station.
