A man, who was arrested in connection to the seizure of an AK 47 assault rifle in Steer Town, St Ann on Friday, February 3, has been remanded into custody.

The man charged with illegal possession of firearm is Shamar Hampton from Steer Town in the parish.

Hampton appeared before the St Ann Parish Court on Thursday, February 9.
