No foul play suspected in Claremont death

The body of a man was found in the Claremont area of St Ann on Thursday, February 9.

The police have ruled out any foul play in relation to his death and are treating the case as one of sudden death.

Dead is 41-year-old Al Taylor, otherwise called Gary, of Salt Water, Hermitage in Claremont, St Ann.

Reports from the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) are at about 9 a.m. last Thursday, residents went to check on Taylor, who they had last seen on February 2.

When residents reached the house where Taylor resided, they detected a foul odour. They found the lifeless body of Taylor in a section of the house.

The police were alerted and Taylor’s body was observed to be in a state of decomposition.

His body was removed to the morgue.
