Ochi community grieves after double killing

The small, densely settled community of Carib Heights/ByPass Ocho Rios  has been devastated by the murder there Tuesday of  one of the community leaders.

Antonio ‘Workey’ Bryan, 43- year-old shopkeeper was stabbed to death Tuesday evening, June 6, about 6:15, reportedly by an ex-convict and a man he knew well, 28-year-old Kayson Walker, also known as ‘Bum Bum’ of  the same community.

Police shot and killed Walker in his house minutes after he had fatally stabbed Bryan.

People sitting outside the shop and bar in the community that fronts onto the Ocho Rios bypass told the North Coast Times Friday that there was no one in the community who had anything bad to say about ‘Workey’. There was still only speculation about the motive for the attack by Walker, who they say they are happy to be rid of.
