Discovery Bay Forum Wednesday

Several issues affecting the residents of Discovery Bay and surrounding communities in St Ann are set for discussion tomorrow evening, Wednesday in that historic town.

The Discovery Bay CDC and the North Coast Times are collaborating to ventilate and provide information on several issues and developments in the community. The town hall style meeting will take place at the Discovery Bay Community Centre, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Lee Arboin, head of the Discovery Bay CDC says there have been several issues of concern to residents of the area. These include the status of the proposed market, beach access for the people from the area and the development and changes at Puerto Seco Beach. The CDC has been trying to get answers for the community on these issues and she has invited members as well as other stakeholders

People from communities such as Queen Hythe, Bridgewater, Old Folly, Hopewell Park, Queen’s Highway, Lakeside and Top Bay have been invited.

North Coast Times Television (NCT-TV) will record the meeting for subsequent broadcast.
